Loretta Ross is a grassroots organizer, and leader of national and international movements for racial and economic justice and women's rights. She is an expert in the politics of women's health, hate groups, and sexual violence. She has served most recently as co-founder and national director of the SisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective. For more information see finding aid for the Loretta Ross Papers.
The following audio recordings were digitized from Loretta's personal audio tape collection which she donated to the SSC with her papers. The recordings in this playlist are speeches, conferences, and discussions. Topics pertain primarily to human rights, racial justice, and the military. Audio quality varies depending on the age of the tape and conditions of the original recording.
